The 2026 Co-Headlining North American Tour

The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium is one of Asheville’s crown jewels — it’s our gorgeous, historic auditorium room tucked right in the heart of downtown, built for nights exactly like this and shows that we’ll remember for a lifetime. That perfect mix of mountain-town charm, world-class acoustics, and a crowd that knows good music when they hear it. And on Tuesday, April 14th, we’re putting all that energy to work when Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman roll through for one of the most anticipated stops on their 2026 co-headlining tour. It’s night two of the entire tour run. AKA Asheville gets the show fresh, electric, and overflowing with that early-tour adrenaline artists always comes with special surprises, new interpretations of our favorite songs, unreleased melodies, and… who KNOWS what else we can expect?!. The full tour is hitting all the major stops across the country, from your Atlanta’s to the Richmond’s, NYC and Detroit, Seattle to San Francisco of course, and ending at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles — but this stop at the Wolfe is the one that already feels like it’s going to be the soul-stirring, heart-thumping highlight.

And let’s be real… this lineup is stacked. Waxahatchee is riding a wave of critical acclaim that’s only gotten louder since her breakout era of Southern-tinged indie rock reshaped what heartfelt storytelling can sound like. Katie Crutchfield has been crafting some of the most emotionally cutting, beautifully arranged records of the past decade — from Ivy Tripp to the watershed moment that was Saint Cloud to her newest chapter, where her songwriting sharpens, sparkles, and somehow hits even deeper live. Her shows are communal, cathartic, and loud in all the right ways — the kind where the whole room sings like they’ve been best friends for years. MJ Lenderman, meanwhile, is Asheville’s own indie-rock gunslinger. Starting his career off back in 2018 and really just finding his groove, he’s the hometown hero returning with a full-national spotlight on him. His blend of distorted Americana, sharp wit, and guitar-heavy storytelling has earned him rave reviews, sold-out shows, and a reputation for being one of the most exciting live acts in the scene right now. Seeing him at the Wolfe — in his own backyard at that — is a legendary move before he goes on tour for a few months. You know he’s gonna go off that night - and that’s why we GOTTA see him here when it all goes down this April.

Like we said — you won’t want to miss this one, y’all. This is Asheville showing up for its own, welcoming one of indie rock’s most new-era legendary voices, and catching a tour that’s bound to be the best of the entire year. Grab your passes, rally the crew, and we’ll see you on April 14th at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium! See ya soon.
